on Sunday we worshipped at Hope church where we're staying for the week. then we went around Medford and Tufts University doing some prayer walking. most of the city feels really townsy but the city is so spread out so its a nice mix. while we were walking around we stopped at a Dunkin Donuts and a Bostonian couple sat down at the table I was at. as soon as I started talking they asked where I was from so I got to tell them what we were doing in the city and tell them about Redemption Hill and it was really neat. they seemed pretty interested so that'd be cool if they ended up visiting some Sunday and got plugged in.
today we woke up at 5am to go to different T stops and hand out granola bars and cards about Redemption Hill. the stop I was at was right in front of a community college & there was a ton of traffic. we ran out of our 300 bars in about 20 minutes. people were very receptive and nice, but most in a rush to get to class, so we didn't have many conversations.
